CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

High Impact Ministry Volunteers

We are a non-denominational Christian organization that has been serving Fairbanks and the Interior of Alaska for over 50 years. The most important thing we do here at the Fairbanks Rescue Mission is share the Gospel and knowledge of Gods Word to our residents.

There are opportunities here for ministry in every aspect of our relational contact with our clients. The most obvious are bible study and music ministry, but as a Christian, every aspect of your life should reflect the love of Christ, so things like: crochet class, paint night, quilt making, movie night, exercise class or beauty shop night, could be an avenue for sharing Christ with others. We are a Mission field and we are looking for some strong Christians to work alongside us as volunteers.

Please contact Perri or Jet if you are interested in becoming a Mission volunteer. 907-331-6292 x2209

Men's and Women's Chapel Service Time     5:30PM-7:00PM

Christian Ministry Volunteers minister to the residents of the Fairbanks Rescue Mission. Ministry through music and an interactive discussion is greatly encouraged. From 5:30pm-6:00pm, ministry volunteers are encouraged to play music in the dining halls or enjoy dinner with the clients while inviting them to chapel services that begin at 6:00pm.

Men's and Women's Bible Studies Time        10:30AM-11:30AM

Christian Ministry Volunteers come usually every week to lead men or women through a Bible Study time. Many of our guests have endured great trauma in their lives and need someone who will minister grace, love, and God's truth to them.

Pray

Prayer is a gift and we need it daily. Please set aside a few minutes of your day to pray for us here at the Mission. We are in constant need of guidance, discernment and strength to overcome the daily drain and challenges that walk through our door. Thank you!
